First, it's just a smidgen smaller than my old card so it doesn't feel quite as tight in my case. It also only has one fan and a heat sink versus two fans, so it's a bit quieter too. Games I couldn't play at 1920x1080 now play fine with no video stuttering which is a big plus for me. It can be impossible to play when you're dealing with choppy graphics.Overall, for the price, I'm very happy with this card. I run the game at max resolution and "high" settings. It isn't set to Ultra, but even when gaming immediately next to someone playing with new maxed out SLI or Crossfire configurations (BF3 set to Ultra), the difference is hardly perceptible. You can tell, but for the price, it SOOO isn't worth it. Just get yourself one of these and set it up to run smoothly. You'll be happy. |
